At Lumatic Imagery, LLC DBA Popcam (“Popcam”), we prioritize accessibility for all. We design our platform to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people with unique requirements.
If the kiosk doesn’t work for you, take your headshot on your own phone: Popcam’s Virtual Headshots feature lets you photograph yourself on your own smartphone. The photo goes through the same editing and lands in the same gallery as a kiosk headshot, so you end up with the same thing, not a substitute. Virtual Headshots is set per event, and your group’s own administrator turns it on; if it isn’t on for yours, ask them to turn it on. This covers headshots. Passport photos have to be taken at the kiosk, because they must meet passport requirements a phone photo cannot.
Our current report: Popcam publishes an Accessibility Conformance Report based on VPAT® 2.5, evaluated against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA. The current report is dated October 26, 2026, and replaces the one dated December 28, 2021. Read the Accessibility Statement and VPAT (PDF).
What the report covers: The web app at lumatic.app, the group dashboard, and the popcam kiosk iPad app. Internal staff tools and this marketing site are not covered.
Committed results: Of the 50 criteria evaluated, 46 are rated Supports and 4 are not applicable. None were left unevaluated. The report still lists open work under “Known gaps” — commitments Popcam has made, rather than criteria the platform fails. Popcam is working on them, and designs new features to meet these standards.
